The location was close to many of the features of Niagara Falls that I was interested in.
walkink distance to amenities
For the price, I couldn't really fault them in anyway. The room was clean and comfortable as well as the bathroom. I stayed in a newer Super 8 in Saskatoon but I also paid much more than what I paid in Niagara Falls. My daughter and her boyfriend were also in Niagara Falls at the same time and had left their hotel due to some issues with cleanliness and I told them to came and stay at the Super 8, which they did. The price that they were charged was a better price than what we paid on Booked.net so I was quite pleased that my daughter got a good deal. I did book a Junior Suite but all that was was a room with two queen beds.
I did not like the fact that you had to pay for internet and I thought $18.07 to rent a movie was expensive but we did it anyway. A continental breakfast would have been nice but they did offer a coupon for breakfast at the restaurant next door which wasn't free but it certainly helped to bring the cost of the breakfast down.
The room was clean, the gentleman working the desk in the am was wonderful...took pics of us as it was our wedding day. Very helpful and upbeat.
The woman checking us in was rude and short....our room was 20 over the quoted price....and I did not bring the paper with me to show her....she was like take it or leave it.
I liked the fact that it was close to anything you could want to do in Niagara Falls and also the fact that they had a shuttle that regularly stopped in front of the hotel to take you where you needed to go. I also thought the room was large enough where you didn't feel cramped as in many hotels.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds extremely comfortable. The spa bath was a great addition to the room. It was nice to have a variety of TV stations available as well as the option to watch pay for view movies. The free wii-fi came in handy. .While the hotel was a bit dated it was friendly, comfortable and clean . We would stay again.
The only negative experience was with the pool sauna area. The pool was a bit small but a nice temperature for swimming. It needed a cleaning but was still ok for swimming. The sauna was another story and the only really bad experience of the stay. It was dirty and the girls used towels to sit on . Both came out with breathing problems that required antihistamines to clear. The sauna needs to be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized .
Free Parking and WiFi. The private jacuzzi was nice. The hotel and its decor are old but clean and in good condition. Although not close to the falls and other attractions there is an efficient shuttle service (with addictional fee).
The lack of safety deposit box in our suite.
Not knowing the area, the location turned out to be ideal for our stay. The staff were friendly. The room, though small was clean.
The fact they there was no water kettle was a minus for us. Not everybody is a coffee drinker.
The price and location was good. The staff was good and effecient and friendly. It was a very comfortable stay we lots of space.
We did not have a micro wave
Large rooms work well for families. Had one small problem with the toilet but it was quickly repaired by hard working staff. The price was a little high but so was everything else in town because of the long weekend. The location was a 10 - 15 min walk to the falls. Free parking was a bonus.
Recreation facilities were a little small for the size of the hotel.
The staff was extremely friendly and the price was very good for a tourist area.
The room was great alittle out dated thou...
We stayed in one of the Suites. The room was extra large with lots of space. The jacuzzi was heart shaped and fit two people perfectly. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel is an excellent price for the room we stayed in and is only a short walk to all the attractions. The pool and hot tub were great.
The downside to this room is that the shower stall-and I use the word stall purposely, is that you can barely fit one person in it nevermind two. The fan comes on when you turn the light on in the bathroom and is very loud. It makes it noisy for when you are going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Also the TV is not big enough for the size of the room as it is located on the other wall away from the bed. We pulled it away from the wall closer to the bed to be able to see it better. Also there is limited choice of channels to watch.
very relaxing we enjoy ourself
I stayed at this hotel with 3 girlfriends for the night and it was just wonderful from the time we arrived. The front desk the rooms everything was just great.
